PHYSICS IN ACTION

It seems impossible when you see it for the first time, but once you understand how it works, you can see it is a more simple system than it looks:

- Both the battery and the structure are very light, 180 grams in total.

- The motor makes the propellers spin to reach the power needed to lift it.

- The structure is designed to withstand continuous impacts, something frequent until you master it.

- It makes use of the force and direction you give it when launching, to fly a certain distance and follow a specific trajectory:

IMPORTANT

- Take your time to learn. It spins fast, that is why it can fly and come back like a boomerang, but at the beginning you have to make simple throws to get used to it. For example, when throwing it straight up, it goes up and down in the same direction, making it easier to catch.

- Not suitable for children under 12 years old. We recommend that children do not play alone until they learn to use it correctly with the help of an adult, as the rotation speed is high and it may be hard for them to get used to throwing it, picking it up from the ground and giving it good use in general.

- It should be used outdoors or indoors with a large space. The structure is very resistant and can withstand even falls from several floors (its own mechanism cushions the impacts), but in a small room with a lot of furniture or other objects, it may start hitting in several places, speeding up, and end up receiving an impact that breaks some of the thinner joints of the structure.

- Battery life is 5 to 6 minutes per charge, with a final stretch with less rotation power. Charging time is 15–20 minutes. Including a higher–capacity battery would increase the weight and make it impossible to enjoy it in the same way, since the flight depends on how much it can lift itself in the air.

- If you would like to have more play time, there is a 50% discount on the 2nd and 3rd units that is applied when adding them to the cart. That way, while one is charging, you can use another.

INSTRUCTIONS

- It is turned on with a switch built into the structure itself.

- The black piece with the air channels has to be on the top for it to fly, and on the bottom for it to spin like a top.

- To stop the rotation, you squeeze it firmly from the top and bottom. When brought together, the structure stops spinning and you can turn off the switch.

- Includes one unit in the chosen colour, USB cable, instructions and a piece to turn it into a spinning top.

STOP ScreenTime

We have not created a project focused on spending less time in front of screens just to say how bad they are, but to give examples of what we miss out on when we use them.

In this specific case, coordination between eyes and hands, reflexes and the logic and angles of flight are worked on as you gradually master its use.

The importance of reducing screen time

Affect eyesight negatively

Too much screen time strains the eyeballs and can create or worsen vision problems, especially in children.

The blue light emitted by screens is the cause, and it is more harmful when the screen is close to the eyes.

Difficulty concentrating

A large part of the content on social media (especially the content made for children) is designed to achieve the longest possible consumption time, which creates the habit of spending hours going from one video to another without using creativity.

If the brain gets used to receiving dopamine simply by looking at a screen, it becomes more and more difficult to have fun with activities that require effort.

Lower sleep quality

Prolonged screen use during the day keeps the brain active and makes it harder to switch into “rest mode” and stay there throughout the night (both in adults and children).
